I have family that works on campus in Stillwater. One's boyfriend works in their athletic department.
Mike Gundy will remain at OkSt as long as he wants, and he is king there. As long as he doesn't drive the program off a cliff, the oil boosters will match any offer put forth by anyone.
Gundy is where he will retire, at his Alma Mater.

Gundy = best head coach in the State of Oklahoma.
He always does more with less. He gets the scraps left over from OU and is consistent. His team this year could very well play Baylor for the Big 12 title and a football playoff berth.
Agree that he can't be removed from OSU, but if he could pull in the recruiting classes that OU gets, he would have OSU as a perennial top 10 program. He is a much better coach than Lincoln Riley on both sides of the ball.
