That is cute, but that is just what they want to paint. Why did Brady win assistant coach of the year, and why is he being talked about for every coordinator job in America? Everyone with any intelligence knows who the brains of the operation is. The NFL wouldn't come calling blindly. They know what goes on inside the program. Why is no one showing interest in Ensminger? And I mean no one.

Oh come on. You can't answer this? Do you know when Brady calls plays?

If his dream job is in the NFL

Well, based on the typical geometric progression regarding fans' patience with coordinators, people will be calling for his job in 2-3 years.

The whole SEC will be spending all summer watching film. If there are weaknesses in his scheme, they'll find them. His next challenge will be how he adjusts to their adjustments.

Depends. Does Brady like coaching in college or the NFL better? He will either be LSU's OC next year or an OC in the NFL. I don't see him leaving LSU for another school's OC position because LSU will match the offer from another school.

All it takes is one NFL owner to make a move and I won't be surprised if Brady becomes an NFL head coach damn being an OC really soon.

Don't be ridiculous. With his age, and connection to LSU, you believe he would leave?

No I don't, and the point is that no one would want him calling plays. If he was the engine, then people would offer despite his connection.

He is the OC! That is a lateral move! If you meant to say as a head coach then that is a total different situation.

I seriously doubt Brady would leave Baton Rouge right after LSU gave him the opportunity to make a name for himself.

The pussy downvoters are out in force. Brady isn’t leaving this year, so cry your eyes out, bitches.

I’m sure Brady is a fine coach, but when you’ve got that QB and those WR it’s not hard to call plays. It all works

You have no idea what you’re talking about. We know a little something about amazing WRs and decent QBs who never progress and play in a junior high passing attack. Coaching absolutely matters.

With all the NFL openings someone may want him as OC or possible head coach only time will tell

Offers will come eventually, but I don’t think an NFL team makes that move this year. He was never even on-field staff at that level. As much as he’s shown, owners are going to want to see him actually run something first. And he will soon.

I could definitely see an OC offer happening this year. That would just be his preference. LSU has proven it will shell out the cash. It would come down to his preference.

HC offers will certainly come as soon as next year if the offense continues to be close to what it was this year. I just don’t see a good one happening this year.

So why couldn’t those same players put up anywhere close to those numbers last year?
