Sounds like a lot transpired when Les was occupied with the game. Just wondering if Les will try to counter Tenn's offer?

Chavis needs to be the top paid defenesive coach. Orgeron would have been a problem. There are a lot of good DL coaches and recruiters.

It is nice that we made Tennessee pay for him, that will help us in the future.

Tennessee recruiting needs help, they have very few in-state athletes to pick from, and I don't see O fitting in well anywhere especially with a $900,000 chip on his shoulder

i don't agree about the pay differences. I think that you hire the best person for each position you can get. And, you pay them whatever it takes to get them, regardless of what their position is.

No you don't pay people what you need to get them if it totally disrupts the pay structure of the staff -- Tommy Moffit makes about $190k, Crowton $450k, other about $200k... Cavis is reportedly going to make $500k which would be $100k less than his subordinate -- forget the Assitant HC or Recruiting Coordinator titles -- they mean nothing.

How would you like it in your job, if your company brought in another person doing your job, but paid them 3 times more than you for the same job? Would you feel it was fair and want to stay working with your company? Same thing.

Makes zero sense!! How much does the Athletic Director make and Miles reports to him. What about the Chancellor and System President?

It's not what we pay him, its how he can help the team. We would be paying him to recruit. Thats it! As a TAF member I am dissapointed that he is going to Tenn,
