Lane is not average Joe. He can coach two teams at the same time.

That is what I've been saying. Most on this site, think getting Lane as Head Coach is much better than wins and losses for the next two years.

Lane is a portal
Beast. LSU will be fine.

If Lane can take the job and hire the right assistants, it wouldn't be a massive issue.

LOL we wouldn’t win a championship next year even with Saban.

Kelly set us back by destroying the culture and creating a soft program. This is a multi-year rehab.

So yes 2026 is a wash already.

So you’re saying that if Lane were to not physically be at LSU until, say, January 20th (and that would be the worst case scenario, ie the day after the national championship game), that would lead to a lost cause season in 2026? But that wouldn’t necessarily be the case if he started, say, this Monday? Roughly a month and a half difference? I’m trying to understand here.
