No. He’s going to collect his buyout for at least a year

Just posted on another thread that I’d like the move but I doubt he’d take an OC job.

And no kissing players if he does

LSU doesn’t need more drama. Coach O provides enough.

Saban brought him in a few offseasons ago to discuss RPOs

I’m sure he’ll be a HC somewhere else, maybe not a power 5, but somebody will be willing to hire him.

He and O hated each other over satellite camps.

Have a feeling Coach O hates Herman for how everything went down.

Herman’s and O’s egos would be terrible together.

There's no way Coach O on already shaky ground hires the guy everybody wanted over him to begin with.

I think O knows you don't hire the guy ready to step in as interim head coach.

Absolutely not. Talk about a clash of egos. LSU’s #1 choice working FOR LSU’s “plan B, C...Z?” I’m sure Herman has ambitions to be a HC again, and quickly. That ambition who clash with O and I doubt Herman would be all that happy to work under those circumstances

Neither should really have an ego at this point. Haha

Don't see this happening for many reasons. He wouldn't take the job and secondly, they probably wouldn't work well together anyway. O already has clashes with tons of coaches which is a major issue with LSU right now. You think these 2 would work after what happened in the past?

I'm pretty sure LSU wants to keep consistency on their offense so they'll probably pluck someone from Payton's staff.

No reasonable fan would. He has a track record of developing solid QB's as an OC, which wasn't that long ago. Anyone who hates this idea only does out of bitterness of what happened in 2016. He's fallen into our lap, and we should take advantage.

If Coach O’s ego can’t handle another ego.. then he isn’t who he promised... Period.
