Is Gonzales another "Recuiter/Below Average Coach"

Assuming the news is correct and he is our new WR coach, do people think that Gonzales is a good coach? I realize he's considered a stud recruiter according to some, but as far as developing WRs, what's his level?
In Meyer's 5 years at UF, I've seen 2 WRs in Murphy and Harvin blossom, and maybe Andre Caldwell. Have there even been any other good WRs from UF under him? I am talking guys under him at least a couple of years (i.e. not Chad Jackson).

He's a better coach than DJ. NOt as good as Tyke.
Better recruiter than DJ too.

He taught Riley Cooper how to commit off pass interference and not get caught.

* WR ANDRE CALDWELL- Finished his career with a school-record 185 receptions and 2,349 yards, which is the third-highest total in Florida history. Accounted for 21 touchdowns in his career (16 receiving, four rushing, one passing). Owns a share of UF’s second-highest single-game receptions' total with his 13-catch effort against Florida Atlantic
* WR DALLAS BAKER - A captain on Florida’s 2006 national championship team who earned first-team All-SEC honors as a senior after catching 60 passes for 920 yards and 10 touchdowns. Ranked fourth in school history with 151 receptions, fifth with 2,236 receiving yards and ninth with 21 touchdowns at the conclusion of his career. Caught 10 passes for 147 yards in the 2006 Outback Bowl to take home MVP honors. Was a seventh-round selection in the 2007 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
* WR CHAD JACKSON - 2005 Biletnikoff Award Semifinalist who was also a First-team All-SEC selection by the AP and a second-team choice by the league's coaches. His 88 receptions in 2005 matched Carlos Alvarez's single-season school record and ranked sixth nationally. Was selected in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots.

Florida's receiver problems this year were more a factor of youth and injuries, I think.

Paris Warren was good at Utah.
UF fans could disagree since I didn't see a ton of Florida this year but Riley Cooper seemed pretty solid this year for his abilities.

Not saying he was a horrible coach, but he wasnt a great one either. Lafell's drop and Tolivers slow development as a freshman and sophomore come to mind.

Not saying DJ is good or bad, but our receiving core rapes florida's every year... and it's not like they don't get talent.

If it makes you guys feel any better, Tennessee was supposedly interested in Gonzales to replace Frank Wilson, so he's somewhat of a hot commodity I guess.

ive never understood why DJ gets such a bad rep around here. we have 2 WRs in the SEC top 5 for receptions per game, two in the top 10 for yards and lafell leads the league in TDs. so if DJ, JJ and Crowton all suck, as so many on here like to claim, id love to hear how that magically just happened.
yes lafell drops too many balls, but he was a lightly regarded 3 star coming out, not even in the top 250. now hes a first or second round pick.
i like DJ. our WRs are the least of our problems. i can only imagine the things people here would say if we had julio and he was going backwards the way he is now. i hope DJ isnt being turned out just for the sake of change.
