Agreed. I think he did a great job recruiting this year but I haven't really seen an improvement in WR play.
Well look what he did with Russell Shepherd....Oh wait, we've still got 2 more years to figure out what to do with him.

I saw absdolutely no difference in our receivers and Shep may have gotten worse.
They didn't have to call timeouts because they couldn't line up properly. Also werent flagged for not being on the line.

Gonzales will be let go when the new OC is hired.
He was an embarrassment of the coaching staff this year.

His comments tell me that the OC has been hired and the agents are just working out the details. It must be someone exciting. Hope so.

It depends on what promises Les made to Billy G when he came here.
Either way there has to be an interview process so to make the process look open and correct.
I don't know that Billy G has much experience with a pro-style offense. If he wants to learn it then you bring in a pro-style offense OC and Billy G gets to learn it along with the spread he learned previously.

As long as he is a minority....don't have to interview.

What has he done?
What difference has he made?
Given that, who gives a F?

If he wants to go ... bye. GC needed to go and if that means we lose him as well, so be it.

How was BG embarrassing?
I don't necessarily believe that he was involved in the offensive play calling since coming to LSU. The receivers missed a lot of passes this season and magnified the problems at QB. Honestly, I thought the WRs got a free pass at the expense of JJ. I would think retaining BG is a positive especially on the recruiting front and the WRs played better as the season went on but to each his own.

anyone who presumes to know anything about bg's actual job performance is just stroking themselves.
you can't coordinate what you do not have. we did not have a passing game.
jordan jefferson, the coordinator killer.

But you don't promote him just to keep him if you have better OC candidates outside the program.
This. If he is gonna be a Robiskie over not getting promoted, then replace him, not a big deal.

Everybody loves the backup QB....until he actually plays.
