I love that he is bringing this drama to the SEC.

Didn't they just step off the Nutt rollercoaster from Hell? Poor bastards.

If Petrino jumps, it's going to cost him over 2 mill. I bet he doesn't leave.

2.85 million but its not like he's hurting for money. If we get 3 years out of him I'll be satisfied.

Well I think that stinks for Arkansas...the stability of your program is in jeopardy if that happens...

What does Ark, have for RB next year..how does the team depth etc look for next year?

Seems to me petrino is losing another franchise player (mcfadden,) just like he did when Vick was lost his first year... could be a rough go?

That give him a perfect excuse when a better job comes available.

I feel confident abour our rb depth next year. Michael Smith was ahead of mcfadden in 05 before he pulled a hammy and then redshirted. Not saying he's going to be better but the talent won't be that much of a drop off. I think felix stays for one more year. We have a good class of rb's coming in next year so we shall see. I hope our center luigs stays for one more year.

Ultimately, he will be judged on his wins and losses. This will all become yesterday's news. He will lock down Arkansas recruits, continue to cherry-pick a few from Oklahoma, Ga, Fla, and will likely pick up a few from his Kentucky contacts. We are about to start a 2 yr series with Texas and a 6 to 8 yr series at the new Jerry Jones World against TAMU. This exposure will likely improve our Texas recruiting, which is no small tidbit.

In short, he will likely do a better job than Nutt as DC has pointed out above. I'm sure not projecting a NC yet, but I bet we'll be quite a bit better than we were with Nutt.
