Imo theirs 3 clear cut top candidates for the head coaching job.

If we want to go the proven coach route who also has shown he can build up an SEC program - Lane kiffin is the clear guy you go after
If you wanna take a chance on a young up and comer who already has strong LA ties and by all accounts has the grinder dog mentality to fit what LSU is looking for - Jon Sumrall is the man to bet on
If their looking to find the potential football equivalent to Jay Johnson in terms of being a west coast guy who is innovative and has the personality traits to thrive with the job- Kenny Dillingham is the guy.
Theirs plenty of other solid candidates like drinkwitz, Dane key, Clark Lea, Jeff Brohm. But imo these are the 3 guys LSU needs to go all in on targeting. Let’s be real pipe dreams like Nick Saban and Dan lanning ain’t happening

I’ve heard Blake say similar on his show this week in terms of political reasons getting in the way of bringing in Sumrall
