...which I bet pretty much all of the other 118 FBS coaches did...

You see all the young talented players, like Ware, TM, Reid, etc, etc, etc..

This is such a unique situation more than most figure. How often does a program stocked like LSU's come open for a job off of an 11 win season with this many special players ?

Does it ever happen? Yes, but put together such a list, and you'll have to stretch your mind to do so.

Point is, if Les leaves, there will be many more willing interviewees than typical, and Alleva is probably being bombarded with inquiries and Agent contacts at this point (or the search firm is).

The Hat, stay or go, brings tremendous PR to LSU. Not always good, that is for sure, but LSU's brand is as well known as ever at this moment in time.

We are gonna be in great shape if Les leaves, and he knows that. This gives him, as does all the hate brought on him over the last few years, a lot of license to take his dream job if he decides to.

We are in great shape, so lets show some patience and see what unfolds.

Any coach worth looking at should know that LSU has something special going into next year

This forum is a bit more open than most. You get banned for saying much of anything negative on a lot of forums and I think it gives some of these folk who don't get around other fans very often a false Idea that LSU fans are more fickle.

They support their coach, sadly half of LSU's fans support Bama's coach too.

Yes, we would be in great shape...if we get lucky and hire another good football coach. I think it would be a fairly unproven guy, at this point.

LSU is in great shape if Les were to leave.

Not only that, I am sure there are a number of coaches that would like to try their hand in the SEC.

Would be an interesting year with both the LSU and UF jobs turning over. If Miles leaves, I don't like it happening this late. Hope he stays.

If he's going to go, they need to get on with this shite. Because we got to find a damn replacement.

Just give your top 5. Shouldn't be a big deal.

There's nobody you prefer to take over the LSU football program when Miles leaves?

Would you say that we were pretty stacked going into '05 as well?
