Anyone on this board who thinks Odom wouldn't be a great hire doesn't know anything about football or what's going on with him. He makes perfect sense. He'd fix the defense and he probably wouldn't leave for awhile either.

Yeah, I don't see how you can rank some of those guys ahead of a proven DC. Reeves has serious questions as to if he even calls a defense. More than Freeman I think. That and he hasn't done it at a consistent level against P5 teams.

We are obviously scrambling right now. Getting Odom, I wouldn’t be super excited but post-Freeman, I wouldn’t be disappointed either.
