Then you also thought he was hot after Tony V for the baseball job. There a pattern here people. Step back and understand how the man works.

Yep. At first you scratch your head and then a couple minutes later you connect the dots. He's masterful. Whats harder? Hiring the new guy who's been successful for 5 years or the guy who has been for 15 and 12 of those years at a prestigious university.

I didn't think LR was Woodward's guy, and still don't. BUT, why wait to let it get out today? Doesn't this look like this is a post LR move?

I neger thought hew as after Tony V but I do think he was after Riley. BK is an interesting hire and he really went outside the box with it. I don't think you can be mad about it at all. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out.

BK seems like a solid coach with good character. I don't think ND's schedule is anything near comparable to an SEC schedule and I think its easier for ND to recruit players than people realize. There's a lot of talent in Chicagoland and Indiana that are ripe for the pickins for ND plus they are a national brand.
