Turned Souther Miss around

Inherited a North Carolina team that was coming off probation and has made them a yearly contender.
Nearly beat the national runner up in the ACC conference title game last year.

Between growing up in Texas and coaching at Southern Miss, he could recruit the area well

Has been a proven success at every stop

The offense would be really fun to watch especially with a lindsay scott type running the show.

I would take O and Aranda Duo with a good OC anyday over Fedora. He screams Birmingham bowl every year for LSU.

southern miss won 9 games or so just two years prior

He wasn't even good at Usm until like year 3 or 4 and he left

With 3 star recruits at a basketball school. Are you serious? I forgot North carolina has dominated the ACC in years past

As much as people knock O about being at Ole Miss, I can't help but get nervous about a coach from Southern Miss after Curly Hallman!

Really? Curly was over 25 years ago. Are all coaches associated with Southern Miss tainted now?

Yes. Curley ruined it for all of them.

So this is a common argument against a lot of guys but you may want to take a look at the SEC...it's pretty garbage and has been for a few years. the entire SEC East is absolute trash, and in the west you have like 2.5 good teams

There was a mass exodus of players in Bowers last year. The cupboard was bare the first year.
