If they are unable to meet Miles' financial demands and the talks break down, how would you feel about this entire episode? Would it in any way change your opinion on him?

Interesting thought. I have already mentally prepared myself he is gone. Not sure how I will feel.

What if Miles is playing us to get a higher salary and a big contract extension? That pitcher for the Dodgers can do it, why can't he?

I would think they should take money out of their private aircraft budget and use it to win football games.

I'm starting to feel to tell Miles to not come back. If he's that interested to travel and discuss leaving, then make sure he leaves. Fire his arse if he doesn't get the offer.

Yeah, I would feel uneasy having him back considering the interest he is showing in Michigan. And he is showing a lot of interest.

I'm sure you would never think of listening to what somebody has to say if it might offer you and your family a better opportunity than you currently have, huh? Gee, if DiNardo, Saban or Miles hadn't done that in the past, we might still be stuck with Curley Hallman?

No need to get emotional. It's a bunch of people on this board who have canonized Miles to be a saint. Miles is a business man and a politician like most coaches. I don't take personal anything he does. I would take him back if LSU doesn't have a Patterson, etc in mind. I feel sure Les's agent is using all this demand to his benefit. No reason to expect a coach or agent to do anything else.

I want him gone. If he will accept if offered, then he is dead man walking as far as i am concerned.

It's not the money. It's the fact that Michigan will always be his Alma mater, always be the school he loves the most. It's whether he wants to be the coach of Michigan, start completely over on rebuilding that program, and move his family or stay at LSU, where he has a NC caliber team for at least the next 3 years (the life of his current contract), and not uproot his family from a place they love.

We are led to believe things would be agreed upon between DB and Miles before they announced a meeting.

And if there was some former LSU player and assistant coach,(whose wife was also a former LSU athlete and graduate)out there coaching at a top 10 program that came back and replaced Miles when the opportunity presented itself, would you hate him as much since he would be doing the same thing that Miles did?

If one of my employees is interviewing for a similar job from a competitor, his arse is so fired the next day he shows up for work!

LOL. You sound like a prick so I'm guessing that your employees probably look for better jobs all the time behind your back.

Unless an employee has financial investment is a business, they SHOULD ALWAYS be looking for a better position or job.
