Would make Saban seem like Ghandi

Never happen. Would demand they ban wearing of the Bear hats in TTown and replace them with crimson Beards. Fans wont like it.

But I'll humor you and give you a serious answer to your question. Alabama's leading candidate would be Gary Patterson. His style of football fits Alabama to a tee. His teams always has a great defense and rugged running game.

Uh, you won't get Patterson, homey. He's got a sweet set up here in Tejas with TCU. And, he typically has a strong D albeit against suspect competition, but they were torched by RG3 & Baylor to start the season.

It's a legit question.

How is it legit? You're talking about Saban going to Texas when Texas already has a HC. It's not legit it's fukn stupid.

Next season is Mack's last..whether his call or Dodds..but it's coming.

UT Boosters will not stomach another bad season(anything more than two Ls will have many powerful UT folks calling for his head)..and they know MB will not have the energy for the next BCSCG run. Mack's said as much behind closed doors. Heard this from a current UT player's father, he told me at Thanksgiving he thought and heard 2012 would MB's last.

Be flattered, you have the consensus top HC in the land, Texas views their job as the best in the land..to think Sexton hasn't or will not be called is naive, whether their main target or just one of the top two or three, probably even if assuming CNS has no interest, but in just checking all available elite HC avenues.

Idk man. All I've seen is Internet rumors. Haven't read one legit article about UT wanting him out. Dude won a NC in 05. Almost won another in 09. Per Rivals, he's got the #1 recruiting class. Idk WTF happened this year, but I think he's got a longer leash than ppl think.

There is a reason Kirby pulled his name out of the Southern Miss job.

Mack steps down and takes the AD position. Saban gets a 5 year 50 million deal.

There are reports of sabans wife in Austin house shopping.

Of course you have. LSU fans always hear the best rumors about Saban. he's going to the cowboys. He's going to ND. He's going to OSU. he's going to USC. he's going to Penn State. Now he's going to Texas (where there isn't an open job).

I never heard any of those.

The man asked a simple question of IF it was to happen, because he was curious as to who it could be and people jump down his throat. My god some fans are so f-ing sensitive.

I think the question you need to be asking is why would you match Texas. Let him go. It is already proven he is not the best coach in the SEC. He already has a losing record to Lester. When will you guys realize he is not jesus christ reincarnate?

if you dont think saban is a rejuvinator and a sustainer, your probably an alabama fan. dudes done it everywhere he goes and for more money each time. he'll go looking in other directions after bama loses the nc game just like he looked elsewhere when he wasnt cut out for the nfl as a head coach. im telling you if saban loses this nc game it will definently get the ball rolling. he knows he isnt winning one next year.

i've been told by a reliable source that Alleva told him he believes Saban will be at Texas in at least 1 year.
