100% guarantee that LSU won’t be in the exact same situation they were in with Les Miles and Coach O. No doubts at all. I say roll the dice. What’s the worst that can happen? Set the program back a decade? Woodward has the greenlight to spend up to $12 million on a stud. I say spend a fraction of that on Napier and give the rest to gymnastics or track and field. I’m in. Let’s go.

question is what's between riley and napier. i don't see jimbo or riley happening...so they gotta be talking to someone we don't know about (i don't think aranda is under consideration).

It’s based off of my opinion that he won’t do well jumping from the Sunbelt to LSU. Personally, if he’s hired I think he’ll flop and be fired within 3-4 and we’ll be right back here. I don’t see what’s so impressive about the guy. If he is hired, I hope I’m as wrong as one can be and he does really well.

Ideally you'd like to see him transition to a more middle of the road power 5 job before coming to a place like LSU.

There’s really nothing more Napier can do to impress the ones that already have their minds made up they hate him. He won by 28 points as an underdog today against a coach a lot of lsu fans said they wouldn’t mind as a coach.
