UNC is a mediocre program. He never won a NC at Miami in spite of having some of the best talent in the land. He was a total bust at Cleveland. Hiring Davis would be a huge mistake.

Miles would not have gotten UNC to a bowl game this yr.

Just like he didn't get LSU into the top 10 this year?

Before he got there it was a really bad program. UNC was ranked higher than LSU at the begining of the season.

Miami was heavily sancioned when Dennis Erickson left and he saw them through that to turn them into an awesome program where they were one game from playing in the National Championship. Then he left to go to the NFL. And nobody has won in Cleveland!

Tell me what Urban Meyer won before going to Florida, Nick Saban and Les Mules won before going to LSU, Chip Kelley won before going to Oregon, Pete Carroll won before going to USC or Bob Stoops won before going to Oklahoma?

Why does Davis' name keep coming up? What has he done to gain such respect? He's an average coach. LSU can do much better.

How old are you?....butch davis is a very good coach..he would certainly be on my list of replacements....
