define best coach? Literally anyone you name, someone will object to. People want a coach with a track record of success? Fine There are 5 active coaches that have won a NC, 2 are Mack Brown and Ed O. Saban and Dabo aren't leaving their current jobs, that leaves Jimbo. Yet in ther multiple years he;s been a candidate, there have been scores of fans ripping him (he only won because of Winston, the ACC sucks).
The hot upcomer? He lost to this or that team or there was this game.
You can have preferences but there is no. clear cut "best coach"
