And a dickhead is exactly what LSU needs right now. We have enough soft "position coaches" and Players coaches who IMO have destroyed the natural agreessiveness and mean streak this LSU team once had. Saban was a dick too but he was a good coach and brought tenacity and toughness to the team. If Tenuta can do that, he can be a dickhead all day as far as I'm concerned.

That statement wasn't specific to you ... it was referring to numerous TD board DC comments I've read over recent weeks from folks (I'm not directing that at you, to be clear, FTR) seem to think it is absolutely essential to have a visibly expressive DC on the sidelines who acts out - i.e., throws a nutty at a player for dumb penalties, etc., throws a happy nutty for stellar defensive play execution, that sort of thing.

Too many associate lack of visible, animated sideline emotion from a coach as indicative of some sort of doom. Point is of course, personalities are as varied among coaches as any other profession. Some are more visibly expressive and animated during games, others not so much, it just depends on the individual personality.

Hence, my comment you referenced.
