Big diff between HC and OC...
as an OC he would not have that much "presence" and limelight..but I agree with Chicken..maybe too soon.

on the other hand..he may want an opportunity to prove himself right away.

Why do people care so much about a pro-style offense? If we ran one of the various spread type offenses, and ranked in the top 5 or 10 statistically, would you be disappointed? The hard on's for a pro-style offense amaze me. I don't give a frick what we run as long as we score points.

+1
..and not a 70-75% rush to pass ratio either..we are not Big 10.

This was linked to some recruiting violations at WVU and Michigan also reported itself for some mishaps. Screw this dude.

His system doesn't really make much sense with Miles personality anyway.

I'm not one to say the spread option would not work here, but if Miles is going to have anything to say about the offense, he and the oc should agree about the type of offense we run. Otherwise we have the no identity clusterfrick of the last few years.

Denard Robinson wasn't running the triple option either.

Richrod, come to LSU !

Do you know what RR's offense looks like? We would have to retool the offense and start looking for an entirely different type of recruit. Stephen Ridley, Zach Mett, and all of our tall receivers would be useless.

RICH ROD??? are you serious? the man passes 99.9% of the time. we are loaded with great rbs!!! You really want to see this team pass the ball 60 times a game? we need someone who runs 50/50 or 60/40 Pass to run

For one, it fits Miles personality perfectly.

Secondly, our personnel right now is probably more leaned to a pro style. We do have some twitch athletes like RS, Gore, Fobbs but the majority of our guys on offense is more pro style. We have a big oline that Miles wants to maul people, we have 3 pro style QBs on roster next year and a dual threat guy who is a average runner. We have like, four power backs on the roster next year too.

You figure it out...
