Will he still be the head coach for the bowl game? I hope there is a way he can be since he is the man that got LSU there.....especially if it is the Sugar Bowl. Would be a nice way to thank him.

I would love him to coach the bowl for one last go round.

But I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't also want to see what Aranda could do as HC for a game.

ETA: Not that I would judge his future as a HC based on one game. I just want to see it.

I agree but sometimes things don't work out like that. the new coach may want to be hired immediately and that means it's his show.

Probably...he is the interim HC

it would be retarded to get an interim for the interim

That's a terrible barometer for a potential coaching candidate.. one game? Can't hurt, but come on man

I wouldn't judge his potential worth as a HC on one game. I just want to see it. That's all.

Fair enough... if that's your stance I can agree with it

It may depend on who the replacement coach will be and if he wants to coach his old team in their bowl game. It seems there have been coaches before that delayed their new job to coach in the bowl game before moving on. Bo Pelini did as the DC before he went to Nebraska.

If he goes to the Sugar Bowl there is a 90% chance that he will be the HC.

Really? My calculations say 32.781%. I'll redo my math.

If Jimbo works out, I think it's 0% TBH. Beyond that, it may get interesting.

I just find it hard to believe that Jimbo is starting negotiations again to wait and see what LSU does with Orgeron. Especially after what happened last year. Some of the others, maybe. I know Fedora will wait and see for sure.
