If Austin Thomas is allowed to leave for money, Alleva needs to go

Ask our players if AT was a big reason they came to LSU. I’d be willing to bet that he played an important role in getting most of them on campus. That said, he’s not the only guy in the country that can do his job. Volquest update today said Thomas wants to return to Tennessee. Our former director of Ops was fired this morning so the position is now vacant.

I love AT but we had top 5 classes before he got here, and we’ll have top 5 classes after he goes. O was involved in creating that role, so I’m confident he can fill it with someone else (including possibly an AT buddy/protégé that is currently with Frank Wilson at UTSA).

Where the hell is this rumor coming from? I hate Alleva with a passion so I’m definitely not taking up for him.

I have not seen any articles referring to potential of Austin Thomas leaving but this storyline has took off like wildfire on this board.
