that guy is likely just an elite recruiter while Saban does the majority of the scheming. would be a colossal downgrade from aranda

You see, that’s the advantage to having a quality head coach. Stealing a coordinator doesn’t cripple a program.

Saban only touches the Dbs .Lupoi coaches all those linebackers and helps with D Line

Yes. But I also know they have a competent HC who has created a machine of spitting out successful coordinators so that losing 1 will not effect his program in any way.

I like this idea because he’s a great recruiter and probably not a great DC.

Not trying to throw salt in your potential wounds here, but serious question - Why would Tosh leave Bama for LSU at this point? You can't pay him more than Bama would pay him, he's currently Co-DC so he will at minimum be co-DC at Bama or perhaps get the title to himself, he knows his HC isn't on the hot seat, and he has a better chance at championships where he is. There is no advantage in the move for Tosh unless you see something the rest of us don't.
