Is that enough to solve our problems?

I truly believe Alleva is a cancer to our program but I think it also goes higher than him. Our administration got complacent. We don’t want to win anymore but rather maintain the status quo.

Not having a winner with the hand on the checkbook anymore is what we need more than anything.

It's not who you fire, it's who you hire.

If we hired a strong willed candidate with a proven track record and a commitment to the football team winning, then yes we would be fine

If we get another JA then time is a flat circle still

A great AD has to agree to take the job. After 2015 how do you expect a top level AD to AGREE to work with F King? Seriously, how?

I loathe Joe, but I think Alexander is the bigger issue

No. I'm convinced that everyone Orgeron and above needs to go. Que the "EVERYONE!" GIF.

Do people understand that LSU is an educational institution? The school chancellor, and Board of Supervisors, have other concerns than the football team, ya know?

The tail doesn't wag the dog. How do you propose firing the entire BoS, or Alexander for that matter? Because of the football team?

I hear where you're coming from. Mark Emmert was a great chancellor b/c he understood how a strong football team helps the overall university. The fact that Alexander is not as good a chancellor as Emmert, though, is not grounds to fire him.

I don't question your premise that Alexander and the BoS aren't great for the football program... I just don't know what if anything can be done about it, as a practical matter.

This.

If you think Joe is bad, just wait until you see who King Alexander would bring in. He would be nothing more than puppet - and one that couldn't care less about LSU sports.

You don't solve this issue from the bottom up - you solve it from the top down. Bring in a competent President that has a proven history of success and actually cares about LSU athletics, and the rest will take care of itself.
