I’d like Jimmy Lake or Pete Golding as DC

Particularly with Golding, I see him improving a lot with a new change of scenery. Low IQ tards of the rant (LSU and Gumps alike) Will crucify this guy and say he will never succeed based on past performance. I think he would do very well at LSU and provide some much needed recruiting advantages in LA for BK.

Pete golding is awful, I feel bad for you for even thinking he is legitimate.

Yeah Saban has a record of hiring terrible coaches and keeping them on staff

The talent is not better at LSU and Saban is a defensive guru and a mentor. If he can’t create solid defenses there like every other DC has under Saban, why would you think he suddenly could at LSU?

Yeah, bc saban has nothing to do with the defense and all.. plus all of his coaches, minus 1 have gone on to do great things.. :sarcasm:

In a vaccuum, it may be “solid”, but It’s relative. They get the best at every position and look very average. I haven’t looked at any stats, but since Saban came to the SEC, Golding’s defenses look like his worst defenses at least in the games I’ve watched. Bama fans hate him also, which seems to support me opinion.

Yeah, solid bc of 1 person. And, its not Pete golding. They have 5 and 4 stars at every position and even bama fans still want him gone. The ccb and their daily infatuations, I swear.

Saban hired him, promoted him, and has kept him as DC for years which seems to support my opinion. But Bama fans and you probably know better.

Golding is from Hammond. DC at SLU and Southern Miss several years ago. I think he’d do alright culturally.
