I wonder if Crowton will ever spin that Les handcuffed him?

Personally, I think with JJ and JL at the helm, it's the right strategy. Don't open it up until we have to and the rest of the time minimize turnovers and make high percentage plays.
Hard to argue with the results this year. And anybody who thinks we could win a national title with JJ or JL at the helm is insane. 10-2 is way above board for those 2 clowns.
With Mett though, the fans will be even less patient than they have been... if that's possible...

And who the hell would stay in a job with someone ruining your reputation and maybe any hope of getting another job. This os why its hard for me to believe that miles is completly handcuffing the man.

After reading that article, I am now officially worried that Les is going to listen to Gary say "Coach, I now have a quarterback. Give me one year with Mett." and it will save his MF job.

He isn't completely handcuffing him IMO, but is setting the agenda and dictates the flow. May even request scripted plays, who knows. A poster who does know has alluded to this in the past, that Miles is heavily involved in the offense we see.

Im pretty sure every HC in the country does this....that's why they're the head coach.

Crowton and Miles never made a match. They both believed in different systems. Crowton said in an interview, link posted on dandydon, that he always tried to run the system Miles wanted him to. After all it is Miles team. Les just needs to get an OC that believes in his system and we will be fine. No one can make me believe that two coaches on the same staff that believed in two different systems did not argue and was not a distraction to everyone else including the players.

i'm glad we are changing OC, but Crowton is a decent guy. He doesn't strike me as the guy to paint his former boss in a bad light.

Not of this matters. Both Crowton and LSU needed a change on the Offensive side of the ball.
