I thought Coach O was our safety net?

I thought the generally accepted theory was that if we can't get Jimbo or Herman, then Coach O is the fall back. Why do we keep talking about gundy or fedora or whatever? We know that Coach O will accept the job. Is LSU really considering the other coaches rather than Coach O?

Yes we are considering other coaches. He isn't ready for this job and likely never will be. He's at his best as a position coach and recruiter. That's a great thing but he isn't cut out to be the head guy at LSU.

Sorry, I was under the impression that if we didn't get Jimbo or Herman, then we would give it to Coach O. I get the fact that Coach O hasn't accomplished much as a head coach, but I don't see any other name besides jimbo and herman that have either. At least you know that Coach O will wall our state's borders

Highly highly highly unlikely he will be named coach. He might not even beat A&M, actually a good chance he won't considering how we looked Saturday , the injuries, and all that's going on.
