That's from a few months ago
Russ callaway seems to be a pretty good coach
He was a pretty good qb himself
I'd feel much more comfortable if he was just the qb coach for next year and helped with the offense
I always thought he would be in the booth with e not linehan
Linehan was a waste of 800k
Put callaway in the booth and replace linehan with a great recruiter/wide receivers coach

I would be fine with Calloway as OC the biggest hire is who will be the DC.

Callaway spends a great deal of time coaching up the QBs. When Brennan struggled early this season he credited Callaway with helping him improve. He's worked with TJ and Max. This past weekend Max did what no LSU QB has EVER done. He threw for 3 TDs in Gainsville. He also did that in his first start as a true FR. He coached under Saban at Bama and coached LBs when Kirby was the DC. Brady was a defensive analyst before switching to offense as well.
Some other interesting facts are his dad was OC at Bama and UGA. From some of the articles I've read, Callaway is destined to be a HC some day. He's another guy, like Brady, that those that have coached with him say has "it". Maybe PGC is the first move for him, but he needs serious consideration for a promotion within the LSU staff if O remains HC.

I don't mind Russ as OC but Linehan needs to be gone. I want another young guy as PGC.
