Bob Stoops.

-He has already entertained the thought of leaving OU(going to FLorida.)
- He has been at OU for more than a decade and if he were to ever change jobs, now is the time.
- has had a lot of success at OU but has also disappointed greatly, especially in recent times.
- Familiar with the SEC and I can imagine him being intrigued with the challenge.
- familiar with the ATM administration. Whats left of it anyways.... (will be able to come in and help clean house.)
-has deep recruiting roots in Texas.

I think ATM could sell him on the challenge.

The only reason this does not happen is money...

No he hasn't. He's turned down UF like 3 times.

Lol hmmm... One of the best jobs in the country where you've already built up a huge base, or rebuild Texas A&M in the hardest conference in America?

Hard to ignore the potential for a large Tier one research university in Texas. 50K enrollment, located in Texas, now an SEC school, passionate fans...only missing a coach really.

Is Stoops popular at OU? A lot of OU fans I know seem to think he underachieves and think he is arrogant. Then again, what fans don't think that about their coach.

If Stoops even entertained the idea of leaving Oklahoma where he has attained god status, then he's too much of a dumbass to get the job anyway.
