Random said not a done deal, but deep into discussions and no glaring problems at this point.
The other guy seemed to feel a deal was closer to completion.
Both seemed pretty positive that negotiations were headed in the right direction so far.

But then you have people like DeltaDoc claiming he knows high ups that claim Jimbo and Herman is a far shot... He never gave specific info, so i'll stay with LSUTigers9458..

Ill tell you this. I know for a fact that top level admin, TAF admin, and donors peruse (and some post) on TD. Doesn't mean much but they know what is being said on here.

I don't care what the role is. But if it is used potentially to leak inside information that should be kept from the public and could possibly have effects on the outcome, the whacking of threads is justified.
ETA: I am a PR/media guy (nothing to do with LSU or athletics), and I know the potential effects of insider leaks through social media and other outlets.

I think that Jimbo has been offered a massive deal because in Florida, they have all started saying how happy Jimbo is at FSU. I'm guessing FSU is trying to entice him to stay while they prepare for this biggest rivalry game of the year.
