I really wish someone would ask Saban about the LSU opening

I think his reaction would be epic.

Coach it seems like your teams have been kinda sluggish the past few weeks. Some people have speculated that it’s due to you keeping an eye on the LSU opening. Are you interested in going back to LSU?

That person would likely lose their job but totally worth it. Good journalism and viral moment.

I would just like to see his facial expressions as the question was being asked. The answer would obviously be epic, but I think the build up to his answer would be even more fun to watch.

Saban wanted to come back in 2007 but was told by Skip
we already have a coach. Skip was for Skip and he got
LM on the cheap 1.2 mil compared to what Nick made his last
year here 4.3 mil. Skip also hired Smoke Laval because he
was the only coach that would give him the camp money.
Since that time the LSU administration has been a cluster
F. There was no way he would work for those clowns. Now
with his buddy SW and a woke President he might make the move.T

I don’t think any reporters are willing to receive the dressing down that would come with asking that question.

I’ve spoken to a close friend of Sabans about it…..he confirms Saban has said he believed Napier would be able to do it. Thinks he has the know how and can recruit his arse off. Same person also heard from a recruit who said if we didn’t hire Napier than we could lose the large majority of the incoming recruiting class. Including our next top QB.

If you actually heard all that, you're hanging out with the wrong people. We're not going to lose recruits because of not hiring Napier. That's just stupid, and I'm pretty sure it just comes from inside your head, rather than something you heard.

Makes you wonder why he has not been asked. Is it possible reporters are told not to ask before any press begins?

The only reporters in the room have been approved by Alabama. If they ask something like that, the reporter (and his/her employer) will no longer be allowed access. Bottom line is the reporter gets fired

So, if we hire say....Riley instead of Napier, Walker Howard is going to be pissed and decommit? Really?

Yeah, quarterbacks hate playing for Lincoln Riley.

That’s my point. Every coach has been asked but Saban which tells me reporters are forbidden to ask him. And why would that be?
