Orgeron did when he hired him...right?

Wrong. Everybody knows that a condition from Alleva and the BOS in hiring O, was that THEY would bring in a shiny superstar OC. Canada was available, and THEY hired him. O would have preferred to give the job to Ensminger, but his hands were tied based on the conditions put on him. Canada was Alleva's boy.

O is to blame for hiring Canada. Never said he wasn’t. But you don’t fire the head coach after one season for making a bad hire. The results on the field will dictate whether O will lose his job or keep it. Until you see what the team looks like next year with a new OC we won’t know if getting rid of Canada was a good thing or a bad thing.

95% of the fan base don’t have a clue. They go off group think and what other people tell them.

So...Orgeron is just a figurehead and when Orgeron supporters ran out and credited him for the hire, and he took those accolades for bringing him in...it was a lie?

Cool...

Any chance you and Geauxst can get together and decide who hired him?

Thanks.

I assume you include this board in that group because according to this board Canada was a homerun hire.

No you fire him for insubordination which is exactly what happened to Les.

Zero told Alleva, Canada, us, and the whole world that he was not going to mess with the offense. He did. That means he lied to his employer about a key piece of the job that he does. That is grounds for termination in any workplace. Now he is going to do it again....he told Alleva, the BOS, us, etc. that he was going to hire the best coordinators. Steve Ensminger is not the best coordinator out there.

There are plenty of reasons to fire Zero....the Canada hiring is only part of it.

Coaches lie. Politicians lie. Only a fool would believe every word these guys say. this is the real world. It ain’t bLack and white. ALL coaches “meddle”.

Situations change. People’s responsibilities change. In any job. The man in charge is the man in charge. Either you can work with it with the common goal of success for everybody. Or you can be a Canada And not. And get run outta town.

Coaches are judged by wins and losses.

Bub you can go slob on Zero some more if you want.

The bottom line I can't think of many coaches at LSU that have deserved a firing more than him.

It's people like you, that are content to sit here and watch Zero burn this shite to the ground, that got us into this situation in the first place. I bet you were also one of the one's holding up signs and crying for Miles at the aTm game in 2015 too.

I'm not laying all the blame on O. Unprofessional on both their parts if this was just a beef.

Wins and losses is all that matters.

O will lose his job if the team sucks.

Deservedly so. Wanting to fire a coach bc he ‘meddled’ when ALL COACHES MEDDLE is as clueless as it gets.

So you're cool with Zero going 9-3 next year. Got it.

This is why we can't have nice things.

9-3 would be a good enough record next year with the schedule and a brand new QB. Let me guess you think Tom Herman or Jimbo would win the SEC.

From what I’ve heard Canada wanted Brennan to have more playing time this year but the shrimp captain vetoed it .

well, according to the unknown sauces (I know, I know), Canada was handcuffed a bit and also wanted to play Brennan > Etling.

I was against that QB swap most of the year, but we have seen plenty of other freshman QBs step in over the last few years, so if O wouldn't allow that, I have to agree with others that he simply did not honor his promise to allow his OC to run the offense.

And now it's blatantly obvious he is going to have a hand in the offense with the hiring of SE.

bullshite. Orgeron sold himself on this job by saying he would allow his coordinators to do their job the way they wanted. Plus, good coaches can meddle. Orgeron has no fricking business telling an OC how to run their offense. He is a fricking DL coach and recruiter. Nothing more.

Again all coaches ‘meddle’. You can frame it however you want. He’s the head coach.

Shitty ones with a history of running programs into the ditch when they meddle...should meddle less.

And that's the issue here.

Orgeron shouldn't, because he made it clear he wouldn't, plus he simply isn't good enough. If this is indeed the case, surely we can agree this experiment won't last long.

except he made it very black and white. Real news, just from the mouth of a conman.

You're wrong, per usual.
