There are threads all over the CCB going all googley-eyed over Billy freaking Napier right now.
Do people understand the massive chasm of proven success between Meyer/Saban and someone like Billy Napier?
Is Woodward really that impotent to settle for such a risky and low-perception hire? Lincoln Riley I could see, if he has agreed to it, although he’s not in the stratosphere of Saban/Meyer either. Below him it drops off really fast.
The world-shaking hire (which I do not believe is remotely possible) would be someone like Sean Payton. If Saban or Meyer are at all interested, though, it’s criminally negligent to not pursue them.

Yeah, good point. He said the same thing the other day regarding "Bianca" health problems. I did not think Bianco had any health problems that are public knowledge, did you?

I questioned him/her on that and got no response. That guy/gal, like everyone else, knows nothing about who it is or isn’t. Woodward isn’t about to leak valid info, and he shouldn’t.
This is a career-defining hire for Woodward and he knows it.
