Hue seemed like a douchebag to boot

It’s a well known fact he’s a douchebag of a human and is hard to deal with. His time as the Browns HC was an absolute disaster.

especially when they finished 5-3 after they fired him. So in half season won nearly double the games he won in 2 1/2
Gregg Williams has more wins in 6 games as the Browns head coach than Hue Jackson did in 2.5 seasons

The infamous scene in Hard Knocks where he has to tell both of them that he's the head coach with the final say (and their reactions) is so money.

Grambling
Northwestern , ULM, and Grambling open
Could Louisiana Tech open too?

Southern is open as well.

Hue was getting 400k/ year for 4 seasons & was due $800k guaranteed by December 15th if he survived . He was 3-8 & 4-6 with only 1 win against teams above .500 in 2 years . SWAC isn't exactly the PAC 12/ SEC west & those were poor results for a man getting paid as much or more than Terry Bowden at ULM.

It would appear that with three attempts, he isn’t good at being a head coach.

I do believe Hue is a competent Position Coach ( QBs) or offensive coordinator. Grambling's offense was actually fairly good by FCS standards , but undisciplined & frustratingly inconsistent at times.

Grambling was dead last (122) in FCS in penalties & total penalty yards.

LSU should pay them to hire Steeples , House, and Cooks as their head coaches

Well, to be fair he should have never been an NFL head coach. Diversity hire.

He was pretty sought after following Daltons near MVP season
