I tend to disagree. I can only speak for Barbe, but recently they simply have not had the size in the trenches and the athleticism in the secondary to compete in 5A. A coupe of years ago, their OL was the smallest I’d ever seen at a big school. And you’ve got Acadiana in your district who is churning out DL like the McKinkey brothers.

That is exactly the problem. Sulpher does not have the necessary size or speed and then there is the recruiting of decent kids to other schools.
There is only so much you can do with skinny slow white kids, even if you have a bunch of them.

Maybe in other places but I’m not sure whom in that area would be where they go

He won’t succeed at that cesspool Sulphur then. The boosters run the program and that’s why they have become the most irrelevant Class 5a team the last 15 years. No one will ever succeed with the politics of Sulphur.
