If he did leave for michigan?

I don't think he will, but if he did, I would not be mad at him. I would not feel betrayed. For me, it would be like when saban left for Miami. Doing something he always wanted to do.

Id tell him thanks for the great times and we forgive you for the bad.

Again, he's the coach I want here at lsu till he can't coach anymore and I also don't think he's going anywhere.

What are yalls thoughts?

I'd feel like a great guy was getting himself out of a bad situation. Just look at the asshats that continue to attack him.

Wish him well.

Different than Saban who was an annual discussion.

I'd wish him the best, and thank him for what he did while he was here. I'm not a Miles fan, but I do understand everything he has done and continues to do for the university. He can stay as long as he likes, I just won't like him, but I'll support him.

Very good coach in most regards, but couldn't pull the trigger on Crowton which damaged his legacy.

Anyone who graduated from college could not fault another for wanting to work at his alma mater, not to mention leaving a fan base that's a bipolar as we are.

I would be happy for him and an instant UM fan. I would also feel embarassed for the way he was treated. I think he has gained a lot of fans the last half of this season, I just hope its not too little too late. He's a great guy. He pisses me off bigtime but I cant help but love him.

I'm sure he'll sleep better tonight

I would feel sad that our spoiled fanbase chased off a good man, and the winningest coach we've had (win %).

The guy only had a better season than Urban M, Saban, Richt, M. Brown, Joe Pa, etc, etc.

ETA: And we could kiss some of our best recruits goodbye.

I'd miss him due to the recruiting class that we have coming in and then I'd watch Ohio State, Penn State and Nebraska eat his lunch every year until Michigan fired him....

the caliber of athlete that LSU gets is higher than what Michigan gets....

If Miles was recruiting at Michigan you can bet your arse he'd have them competing in the Big10. They'd be no worse than #2 on a consistent basis IMO

I would not be mad at all. In fact i hope this happens. Leslie carry your happy arse back north. The product you put on the field isn't worth 3.8 mill

I think you need to check out Miles winning percentage in the SEC. Bowl record, etc. Sorry

Also -- I said "no worse than #2".

The way the fans have been, I would not be upset if he left to coach Auburn
