Not even close to enough to matter if we want him. If Les leaves, we will have whoever we want to replace him. Can you imagine what every coach in the country was thinking last night when we had 4 18yrolds put on a freaking defensive clinic and 1 18yrold run for 100+...

10.5 mill. for 5 yrs.

If Les leaves, coaches will be knocking the door down to get the LSU job. Talent!!!!! We are going to be good next year!

They were really knocking down the door when Saban left.

That's 25% less than what Saban got his first season FIVE years prior.
Don't equate LSU going CHEAP on the Saban replacement to coaches not being interested in LSU.

How'd that work out for Florida?

rolleyes: How'd that work out for Florida? They've had more success (by 1 game and a NC) than LSU and they couldn't get Stoops or any other current HC. They ended up with an unproven coordinator. Michigan has been turned down by multiple guys. Patterson just inked a new deal. So did Jimbo Fisher. Those guys are leaving their current positions for LSU, no matter how promising it looks.
Are you serious? If you think this didn't turn out good for Florida, I'm getting worried about the the competence of this board... Oh wait. You do know they just took the OC from a playoff NFL team. And there head coach is one of the premier DC's in CFB who wants no part of the offense. If any of you feels good about Florida's hires and are Tiger fans, you need to be drug tested. Florida is laughing there asses off at how well this turned out for them.

Y'all can afford it, whatever it is. Money will not be an issue for LSU.

Fl has an unproven coach, who came from a crappy TX team and some pro coaches. Big deal. Not first rate.
