If he is not trolling.....Then why is he repeating these rumors already posted here as "facts" under an Auburn alter ego?

If he is leaving to go to Michigan they could have already let him leave. They don't have to fire him, he doesn't have to quit, they just release him

So why haven't they done this? Why wait until after a meaningless game? What is the benefit of keeping him around if they know he is going to college? Harbaugh put it out there that he was not coming back. Notice in kawakami's article the team clarified that he would come back if he won the SB. That is NOT what glazer reported in sept. Glazer reported in sept that Harbaugh was not coming back regardless and that had to come from Harbaugh's agent.

JH wants to coach his last game. He will be called quitter if he leaves before the season is over.

He believes 'The captain will eat last' this kind of shite.

Unless both parties just agree to it, there's a buyout involved. He's got another year left on his contract. From what I've read, it's $5 million either way. If Harbaugh leaves, even after the season, he owes the 49ers $5 million. If he's fired, even after the season, the 49ers owe him $5 million. It's not smart business by either party to just leave that on the table without some sort of negotiation. That's why the 49ers don't just let him leave.

It's a local ABC station. And here's what they're saying

quote:

Friday night, the unconfirmed reports began surfacing that Harbaugh will meet with representatives from the University of Michigan and one source says that a deal is already done.

So which is it?

Why are you so adamant about this. If the deal has been signed, everyone will know next week.

If not, you just look like an arse.

He would be an awesome hire and it is clear Mich is willing to wait on him, why aren't you?

Why wouldn't both parties just agree to it?

SF keeps Harbaugh out of the League

Harbaugh gets the mega contract and the hero treatment

Everybody wins.

Why keep it secret? Why wait? Why isn't it leaking out from the national guys and the NFL guys?

I just let trey back from his brief timeout for posting with an alter

Trey can take his coaching changes victory lap. Feldman is reporting exactly what trey said a few days ago.

Yeah, no hard feelings

I am not really invested in this one way or another, I think a good Michigan is good for college football

Some of us are not saying Harbaugh isn't going or we don't want him to go, what we are saying is these things are a dirty business, so you can't believe anything until the guy is standing in front of the podium.

Some of this stuff really doesn't make any sense how it has played out.

I still find it hard to believe Harbaugh would commit to anything until everything shakes out. I could see Harbaugh making a statement today after the 49ers game. Or I could see the whole thing changing by this time Monday afternoon.

I am not convinced this is a done deal until I see Harbaugh say it himself. He has been very vague in all of this with good reason.
