He’s obviously in the hot seat, and his latest shenanigans re Eli Manning aren’t going to help his job security.

Any idea how much longer he has? Is it too soon to start the McAdoo to Knoxville thread?

FWIW, McAdoo’s decision to derail Eli’s 205 game consecutive start record really is B.S.

He is desperate to show improvement and get wins right now. Despite how they have been playing , do you think that Geno Smith is the guy to do that? No. McAdoo didn't make this decision. Either the GM or higher did.

He needs to be canned for his new guido greaser look. Geez louise.

Jason Garrett may be on the market too if they dont win this week. I hope UT folks do a better job of vetting before trying to get embarrassed by calling him. Cause i'm sure he'll have plenty to say from what his buddy Dooley told him about how crappy UTAD is.

Agree with 0891,

Heard Rex Ryan say today that last year, higher ups demanded he bench Taylor, he said “you’ll have to fire me, I’m not doing it.” So it’s probably something similar.

Surprising though, seeing that it’s the Giants, normally considered a classy organization.

Geno Smith is definitely not the answer to the Giants’ woes. He’s MAYBE the third best QB on staff.

If I were that goofy, greasy, hair-gelled sumbitch, I’d be testing out their current 3rd string guy—the new recruit whose name escapes me at the moment. Geno is a known quantity, and it ain’t good.

Davis Webb I believe. I think ownership wants to see what they have in him before they go into the draft looking for a franchise qb to pick. But a team as bad as them isn't a qb away. Hell , it's been proven that a decent cast around Eli is enough. Of course everyone wants to have the hottest take on Eli about how he is so average and sucks. How he lucked into two Super Bowls. bullshite. It will take more than one rookie qb to turn that team around, whether that's the rookie they have now or a possible future draft pick.

They have bungled the situation. They should have allowed Eli to start without mentioning anything and playing Webb later in the game or something if they want to see what he has. Mac has to be smart enough to know that this means he is basically gone too. Bad look for Giants ownership. I could not care less about that team but I think the owner is looking pretty classless in all this.

McAdoo’s gone, it is just a question of when.

That being said, the current stupidity is on management because McAdoo may be an idiot but even an idiot doesn’t sit Eli without being told to do it.

Well, if Peyton still has any clout with UT, I kind of doubt he push for McAdoo.
