Mason is a good guess he checks all the boxes. I’m sure mascona has some sources but O and company can’t stand him so doubt it’s coming from the top

He has connections inside the program but not the most among the guys on local BR sports talk. Jordy is the one that I take what he says very seriously. His connection is O’s right hand man for football and it’s Will Wade himself for basketball.

It's a pretty good guess but nothing more I'd imagine. Mason. He makes logical sense for LSU especially if they aren't looking at a huge homerun hire. I think he also fits better in the locker room culture just because he's black too considering all the stuff that happened in the off season. Yeah, I'm going there. Black players will relate more with a black coach. He might be able to recruit well who knows.
It's an uninspiring hire for sure if it happens. He hasn't proven anything in the SEC with his defenses. Seems risky.

Moscana is connected, but Jordy is the most connected at 104.5 I believe.
Scone's sources are basically anyone at traction (Ryan Clark, Ryan Theriot, former players who train there, some others) and they absolutely still have connections at LSU. I wouldn't put his word above Jordy though.

Rightly so. Matt shite all over the O hire but a lot of us did too. It just seemed very underwhelming at the time.
