You're right, we should have just bent over and taken it up the arse like we have for the last decade with these piss poor coaching hires.
No, yall should have had Currie run off then instead of making it about something it was not like a bunch of passive aggressive school girls.

Honestly, I was thinking about the inevitable backlash that would ensue had we hired ANYONE even loosely associated with the Penn State scandal a year after we settled a Title 9 sexual assault class action lawsuit.
That’s fair, but it’s not how you—the collective—were spinning it in the beginning.

Dude, we are not enemies. As an LSU fan, I want y’all to be good. We NEED y’all to be good. I didn’t like the Schiano hire personally because I felt his reputation as an a-hole would hinder the recruiting he would have to do to be as successful as everybody needs y’all to be. If you wind up with a better coach than him, then thank goodness. It’s just the whole “don’t pee on my leg and tell me it’s raining” thing that is so offensive. You didn’t/don’t like him. Fine. Neither do I. Just own it.

I can’t speak to Rutgers or Tampa bay but several past and present buckeyes have tweeted and spoken support for schiano.
Dumb point to make.

Ronde Barber and Dallas Clark both decided to retire because of that dude.
But Dallas Clark played for Baltimore for a year after he left the Buccaneers. And I really can't find anything from Clark about Schiano (besides being upset in his use in the offense).
And there are a number of articles about Ronde Barber saying good things about Schiano:

Still, Ronde believes the Bucs have the potential to take a step forward, especially with Greg Schiano entering his second year.
“Greg really is a good guy,” Ronde said. “He has this persona now as the guy who’s going to rush the victory formation, but I really enjoyed being around him. Being a vet on a young team, you end up spending more time with the older guys in the organization and that was, frankly, all the coaches last year, So I got more of an insight and could glean more about what he was trying to do with the team and how he was trying to transform the franchise. Sometimes the only way to do that is to shock the system, and that’s what he did. I’m excited for them because I think he’ll make them a better team.”

quote:
“The best thing that they did was release Josh, “Barber said during Fox’s pregame coverage. “Somehow, someway that situation had to end. It had gotten toxic from both sides. Josh was manipulating, everybody felt like Coach was manipulating, but I don’t feel like Greg was that kind of guy. Greg wants what’s best for this team. I think he can get the locker room back. I want to see him get the locker room back.”

I know y’all are just kids, but Rutgers was literally the worst Division 1 football program in the nation. What he did there was miracle
So much this! They are either too young or too stupid to realize Schiano is the reason anyone even knows Rutgers exists.

They actually did. A lot of them tweeted and said they were with their old coach. Don’t be lazy. Go look for it.
