How come NONE of Schiano's former players spoke on his behalf?

I mean, if he's such a great guy, and an amazing coach, who has molded thousands of young men during his impressive career, why wouldn't ANY of them take up for him?

Ronde Barber and Dallas Clark both decided to retire because of that dude. The protest was well timed and deserved.....and it had nothing to do with Penn St.

I'm done with it after this thread. But I just want someone to tell me why Tennessee fans were wrong for Scalping this guy.

Just stop.

I think the entire nation knows, and understands, that your AD handled all of this about as horribly as he could have.

Your fans still acted like some snowflake bitches though, kicking and screaming because you didn't like your new toy.

You're right, we should have just bent over and taken it up the arse like we have for the last decade with these piss poor coaching hires.

I was really close to making a Penn State joke, but resisted the temptation at the last moment.

Hey, um, what happened to Doug Marrone being interested in the Vols?

Why are you so butt hurt over this? If you don't want people to point out how your fans have acted then stop making theads, and bringing it up in every single thread.

Let it be what it is. Im actually impressed by what your face base has been able to accomplish, whether I agree with it or not.

As far as I know, he's still interested. But it'll never happen because we can't wait for the NFL season to end.

However, it's very possible that his defensive line coach, Marion Hobby, will be on the next staff.

You are wrong.

Deal with it.

Now Fat Phil has backstabbed his way into another top position at UT. Congrats, I guess.

The only thing I know out of all this mess, the media and all these people with "sources" are complete and utter bullshite. Their sources are as good as mine. But hey, more website clicks!

Certainly. The only reason I know that Marrone is legit is because he has applied for the Tennessee gig every time we've made a coaching change.

And Hobby wants to come home.

Fans shouldn't control hires.
