If the LSU media department started calling it a tradition a few years after the team started doing it then get rid of it. It’s not like #18 dates back 50 years.

I think they’re both great traditions, but there’s not players deserving every season of it. It should be reserved for special players and not just given out Willy-Nilly like it is now.
