The fanbase latches on to someone flashy every time there’s a coaching change then it turns out to not be them. The insiders have always been wrong. Hope the fanbase isn’t setting themselves up for disappointment again!

Exactly. It's what LSU does. They go for the big flashy hire, but then if it falls apart, they don't seem to have a good contingency plan in place. We've been left at the altar twice before. Maybe third time is the charm. Personally, I don't think Kiffin is coming here. I think he's using us to drive up the asking price. I just hope that Verge and the BOS are ready in the event that we get stiffed.

Morris makes 1.4 million a year. Give me Morris over Drinkwitz’s bloated 9 million dollar a year salary. Drinkwitz wants to be paid like a top 5 coach with huge buyout. Screw all that noise. I’d rather pay Morris less than half what Drinkwitz will get on a prove it type deal. If it doesn’t work out you can move on from Morris in 2 years.
