That'd be a dumb decision. $32ish million is kind of the threshold for a lump sum that makes sense. Also depends on how much the mitigation clause concerns BK.

Kelly is going to get his buyout, unless he settles for a lump sum.
$35 mil or so makes sense for both parties but I don't know if LSU can afford it.

That's the problem. Our money guys are not willing to pay out 22-24 million year for the next 4 or 5 years for 2 guys.....one of which is not gonna coach again.

If that's the case, you aren't getting anyone proven and it's a complete crapshoot so get Kelvin Sheppard or something similar and see what happens.

They would pay 100M a year for 3 years for Saban. But his wife isn’t going to let him come back.
