While I think he would be a very good OC here, we all know he will be here 2 years tops. And I think Aranda is only here 2-3 years until the goes to the NFL. Now Coach O earned the job and it's his, but he doesn't have a great deal of experience in hiring a staff, and I would hate for him to have to replace the OC and DC in the same offseason.

Might as well enjoy the next two years then, and not worry about 2 years from now.

Maybe CEO will be fired by the time that rehiring staff becomes an issue, and he won't have to worry about it.

Let's review the record ,

Utterly failed at Oakland , even Al Davis thought he was slimy.

Was slimy at UT then bailed on them like he will anyone anytime

Got his image rehabilitated at AL , the Best Program with the Deepest Talent in CFB.

Lost his his wife cuz he is a shitbag, chasing coeds, (read this on Sec rant so it must be true) now is he either full of himself or Saban is tired of him or both.

He will absolutely use LSU for his own agenda.

Why the fk would you employ someone like that?

Can't argue with most of Kiffin's issues at Oakland, although I do seem to remember he absolutely did NOT want to draft JaMarcus Russell but was overruled. A decent QB may have changed the narrative somewhat.

The failed marriage, etc doesn't really bother me because if you applied that same standard to other professions there would be a lot of high achievers out of work. Same with his snarky personality. Just don't make him the face of your program.

Don't know if this information is true but on a local radio station in South carolina. It's been reported that saban baits kiffin at practice to get him mad, and Saban let's the defensive players mock and laugh at kiffin. The butt lashing Kiffin took during the game is just a samole size of what saban puts kiffin through. So kiffin might be trying to get out of town.

O is the girl we're friends with who we asked to the prom on Friday because the two hammers we wanted to take both told us no.

She's cute and loyal and just might put out, but the choice reeks of desperation and mismanagement.

We should never not hire a guy because we think he might be too good to stay for long. I never understood that mindset. If he's good enough for another program to want, then its a successful hire.
