It is hard for me to believe that Coach O was let go 6 weeks ago and SW was just talking to LR a couple of days ago and talking to BK right now. That just makes no sense, I have to give SW more credit than that. (for now anyway.) I have heard Jimbo was his first choice but Jimbo would have gave SW a answer weeks ago. That would have given SW plenty of time to hook someone before today.

Woodward has talked to agents the whole time and waited till the season was over to directly talk to coaches.

How much agents lied to Woodward in those talks is a different story that will come out eventually. I'm of the opinion every melt on here has been the result of agents floating rumors.

Woodward fired O because the Kentucky loss opened the door for him.

Every athletic director wants to make their own football hire.

Woodward wasn't going to take the chance that we would have an 8 and 4 season and he would be stuck another year with orgeron.
