No , there was no conspiracy to remove Miles.
Well, this is easy to say, but it certainly looks that way to the outside. No, not with a movie villain meeting with his henchmen, but Alleva was bent out of shape when he was overruled at the end of 2015.
The right move was to clean house after 2016. Folks didn't want to lose any coaches except Miles and Cameron (maybe Grimes). Fine. But that's how you get what we have now. But, firing Miles in the middle of 2016, doing no search beyond, "Find out if Herman or Jimbo really want to be here", then giving the keys to O is LITERALLY insane.
Ergo, Alleva is literally insane. Until we have a different person (sane or not) in that chair, this situation will go from bad, to worse, to Hallman.
And I'm normally as positive a rational person can be about LSU football.

Do you believe Miles really wants to get back into coaching? The conventional wisdom is that he is interviewing just to show he is looking for work per his contractual requirements.

Not insane. Just too emotional to the point that it hinders his occupation.

Yes. Miles most definitely wants to coach again.
Arizona is his first real shot since he left LSU.

All of this shite going down before the great recruiting class of 2019.

This HCIW condition isnt guaranteed. It simply means Aranda will be the first person interviewed and evaluated.
He should start preparing his binder now.

So O targeted a guy with baggage and the administration said no.
Tried to get Kiffin to take a positional downgrade and he said no
Wouldn't even negotiate with Gilbert.
Then just shut it all down and hired Ensminger. Like there was only 3 guys in all of college football that he could hire wnd 2 of them were complete longshots to begin with. What a loser.
Orgeron is following the same formula Alleva used to hire Orgeron. Can you blame him?

Literally beggin Kiffin to be your OC is just hilarious
Hey Ed, why not offer Sean Payton?

TenthTiger, Did you even sleep?

Do you think he gets the Arizona job?

Did Canada or Ensminger call plays against Notre Dame? Because if it was Ensminger....holy poop nuggets.

Could we really afford woodword? I don't see a bidding war with Texas a&m ending well

I woke up this morning happy, thinking I had just awaken from a turrible dream.
Then, I ate breakfast and headed to work. Loaded up TD and realized at 6:55 am that this was no mere nightmare. We are living this nightmare and I just want to wake up.

Orgeron contacted Lane Kiffin with the approval of Alleva
out of all that this is the most concerning thing. Our HC cant even talk to someone about a OC position without the Ok of the AD...this is disturbing

But not surprising. I bet Alleva makes O fill out 5 forms before he goes to take his morning shite. Joe knows he made a big mistake and he's going to micromanage everything going forward.

After this train becomes completely derailed, will LSU be in a position to take a chance making Aranda HC? I think he’ll be a wonderful HC, but he will be unproven when it’s time to look for a new HC and that might be considered too risky.
