Either one. Wouldn't either one of these be a better short and long term option that what we were faced with the past few weeks and seemed inevitable at times?

Facts won't get in my way. But my question stands...
Against who?
Against who?

Only reason Helfrich is even a considered OC is because he was OC under Chip Kelly. Oh and did I mention he didn't call the plays!!! As OC! He is on record saying Chip called all the plays. You people are unreal.
Canada all the way! Your football knowledge shows if you want Helfrich.

What exactly does that have to do with what kind of offense he runs? He either does or he doesnt run an air raid.
He doesn't.
Are you saying his offense won't work in the SEC? Because thats a completely separate argument. He basically runs Ole miss' offense, which is obviously not an Air Raid either. So i'm confused what we're even arguing about.
ETA - SORRY, he actually runs the ball WAAAY more than Ole Miss. Which helps my point.

I say Helfrich.
Someone said that a Chip Kelly style offense wouldn't work at a slower tempo... That's exactly what Ohio state does. He studied with chip over the summers. Watch the film its the same offense. It definitely will work in the sec ask Alabama about it.

against anyone. It was good enough to make it to the NC game

What do you mean? With your reasoning lsu could only hire a sec OC to prove his offense works against sec teams. Your reasoning is retarded.

Ohio St. is predominantly a north south power run team with some sweeps mixed in to keep Defenses honest.
Oregon was an east west run team in order to spread the D and make the right cuts to get north south. Big difference

Explain his offense ranking in the top 20 this year

Briles!!
For what its worth there are two guys including myself from Wolfpack Nation on this forum and neither of us prefer Canada. Keep in mind what the major frustrations were with CLM. Perhaps Canada will be willing to open things up and attack all areas of the field, but thats not who he has been. In all other aspects he's rock solid.

He won't.
Cuz he can't. He's too busy laughing hysterically at his brilliant post.

Top 20 offense doesn't mean shite. This isn't Ncaa Football on Xbox. Look at Texas Tech. Everything has to work together. We need an offense that can move the chains, help and complement the defense, and convert touchdowns in the red zone.
That's exactly what you get with Canadas coaching
