Why is that important? Nick Saban was not Mark Emmerts first choice. I don’t give a crap if BK was first or third choice, if he re-establishes this program to excellence of winning again.

The schools talk to the agents first. The coaches aren’t lying when the say “ I didn’t talk to school X. until Sunday” or whatever. It’s plausible deniability. His agent talked to the school and relayed messages. But he didn’t until the end.
